Hello! In order to combat spam in UCSD discord servers, I've made this feature for my bot, Korone. This works by having students link their UCSD email and their discord account in order to be verified by Korone. Currently this feature is only available to a few UCSD servers as I iron out more features.

Authentication Features

• You will be unable to log in to this page if you do not use a UCSD email.
• After the linking process has occurred, users can click "verify me" on Korone's message to be granted access to the server
• If a user decides to unlink their account, they will be automatically unverified in all servers.
• Mods can ban the ucsd email linked to a user's discord by typing /banucsdemail followed by the user they wish to ban, this prevents alternate accounts from linking with the same email.

Privacy

I understand that your UCSD email is sensitive information, it is only used to link your account and no discord user will be able to view the UCSD email of a user through their discord account. All information obtained by the Authentication login is already publicly available such as your username and profile picture.
